He’s definitely “cool” with that, Nancy! It’s about time someone simply told him “Thank you” instead of “Gimme, gimme, gimme.” In fact, a priest taught me a simple, but very right way to pray. It’s called the ACTS method:.ADORATION: Acknowledge God’s love and mercy, and his greatness. Recognize that there is none other like Him, His Name is above all names..CONTRITION: Ask His forgiveness for all of your sins, including your sins of omission (what you have done or failed to do)..THANKSGIVING: Thank Him for all of His blessings both great and small that He has bestowed upon you..SUPPLICATION: After you have done the first three steps NOW is when you ask Him to fulfill your needs but that His will be done and not your own.
