According to the previews, Batman sees Superman as a danger, especially after all the damage that was done to Metropolis in Superman’s fight with Zod in “Man of Steel”
Dark, psychologically complex heroes are the style these days: human beings transformed in often tragic ways. Superman and the other Krypton beings are aliens, too. Superman renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2011 and has been under suspicion ever since. .And then, too, rumors are that he is mentally disturbed by his father, Jor-El, prohibiting him from changing human destiny, which he could possibly do by going into the Past to prevent various human miseries..In other words, this isn’t your father’s Superman.
Superman would annotate Batman with one punch; this should be the shortest movie in the history of movies: Bur since Nancy brought up Wonder Woman, Fritzi really should get out the costume to celebrate this event
Yep, the “World’s Finest” series were top-of-the-line. Superman didn’t reveal his secret identity to anyone — anyone at all, but he told Batman.
“Superman” was never meant to be dark. He was clean-cut; it was against his code to kill. And they lost me in that last movie where he destroys half a town fighting one super-villain.
Oh, and one more thing about “World’s Finest” comics. I was shocked in the one where Batman revealed he was Bruce Wayne to Jimmy Olsen. I was a kid in a barber shop, reading the comic, but even then, I thought, “You told a newspaper reporter? Now everyone will know!”

I refuse to acknowledge this new reboot. I grew up with Superman and Batman being best friends.
