That curved line in the second panel makes it look like he threw it instead of simply falling. But one way or another, Snoopy doesn’t accept second hand food anymore. He has his pride.

“Once insulted, will stay insulted.”-That’s how it is with the Lyons family. Our dignity is notlike a stain: you can’t wash it off right away.

If it’s covered in ants, Jon from Garfield will have it.

Snoopy is clearly not a dog, but some other kind of life form.

Certainly not any dog I know. They want it out of your hand, out of their dish, off the floor, off the drive, off the grass, off dirt, anyway they can get it. And they want to get up under your feet while you’re cooking so they can cause you to drop something then look at you like you just beat them when you yell at them to get out of the kitchen.

My dog would have got it before it hit the ground.
