Now THAT WIlbur is some pig. Maybe not terrific, radiant or humble, but some pig.

They say they can’t reproduce Damascus steel either. Not sure why with our technology.

Actually what is called Damascus steel now, is not the Damascus steel used in the ancient famous Damascus steel swords.A few years ago a couple if melallurgists did determine the composition and heat treatment of a real Damascus sword steel. It is really a good spring steel, but as there are superior alloys and heat treatments, it’s not really useful now. What is called Damascus steel now is very brittle. It is folded and forge welded layers of iron and slag.It makes a beatiful pattern and is capable of being sharpened to a very keen edge. The Damascus gun barrels were a layered forge weld alternating strips of iron and steel. An experienced forger could predict the final pattern by how the layers and bars were laid out prior to forging.

Are we sure the cook family aren’t related to Circe?

I wonder if they have replaced any of the wood on that roller coaster yet?

There were Leap-the-Dips style roller coasters all over the country, although the <a href = “http://rcdb.com/qs.htm?qs=leap+the+dips”>Roller Coaster Database only lists seven with that exact name. It’s weird the strip didn’t use an example of the roller coaster that’s there in Altoona, though. After all, anyone can take a picture of it.

I thought that there was NO Mortar used in the Great Pyramid, the stones of the Pyramid are just stacked.
