I Drove a stick for a while. They’re kind of fun; but I don’t know where you can get them these days, except maybe pickup trucks.

The only problem I ever had with a stick shift was that after driving a VW bug for a few years I was assigned a jeep & I kept backing away from full stops.

My first real job involved driving a 4WD stick. The road out of town was on a 90° (approx.) hill with a stop light at the top. I finally learned how to start without rolling back (too far…)
