And where, IMHO, the strip jumped the shark. BTC got very tiresome, very fast, and equally as ubiquitous.

And there he is a Cat among cats, the Ginger Powerhouse. Bill The Cat <3

Let’s not forget that BTC was an obvious response to and parody of the already ubiquitous Garfield.

Odd how Breathed’s art improved while the writing weakened.

The editorial headline doesn’t phase the one who wins in the ubiquitous way: by outspending his opponent. And Bill the Cat is nonetheless correct in his reaction to that other ugly puss….
