Some also have mental or physical health issues that make it difficult to work a steady job. Nothing like just getting through training and then needing several days off to deal with a pain flare-up to endear you to an employer.

One very strong point. The Mexican illegals are definitely hard workers. Some not all of our citizens on public aid are there because it’s easier to pick up a check than it is to do hard agricultural work. Might be a good idea to tighten up on the public purse strings. However after talking to the fruit farmers in my area they say the teenagers today are next to worthless. They will hire them and after two or three days in the field, they quit because it’s “to hard” for them.
