He is right, humans have been modifying food through cross breeding. Corn, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Not to mention cattle, dogs, cats, horse to just name a few.
Genetic engineering is all new. No one could breed tomatoes with viruses and jellyfish genes the old fashioned way. Nor pick and choose what genes you are going to insert where they want to from any species. Scyphi you are disingenuous here and not representing the truth of it.
