bbear and QoA, yes, I know what you mean. Mittens is the worst offender, though. She will leave the tile flooring in the bathroom or kitchen, and go to the carpeted hallway or living room! Amazingly, though, today, she hacked up a big old hairball, in the KITCHEN of all places! I guess she didn’t have time to make it to the living room! :-D

I must say there is nothing worse (well maybe) than waking up at 3am to the sound of a cat hacking up a hairball ON THE BED!Toshie did this at least once a month. I put a towel on the end of the bed and occasionally she used it, but mostly not!

My computer is hacking up hairballs this morning, first I’m on the internet and then I’m not. Wish it would make up its mind.

My current Feline Overload Misty, decided that 03:15 was a good time this morning to play with a live mouse in the hall. I got wet taking the mouse down the road to release on the green. It’s a bit difficult to put on a coat when holding a live mouse in one hand. Misty did spend some time looking for the mouse after I’d caught it.

Thank you. He is actually small for a Maine Coon. He had a really rough start in life, may have been the runt of the litter, so he isn’t as big a boy as he could be. At 15 pounds, he is big enough.
