At least Annie is warned about the laundry hamper. The pictures today – some cute and some not so cute. My favorites – the cat and the feather and the cat in the toilet – that dog is so funny! My husband would really like ‘no she doesn’t use it to clean’. I’m not showing it to him!
Visiting cousin, Emma, just had to pose with grandson’s Spiderman toy minutes ago. She is our home grown Lily. Lucky us. To give her credit, she has really mellowed.
bbear: love the Mother Nature and Kitteh Yoga!!! I’ll bet Queen has experienced plenty of MEOW MIXes too. And MCTS…the dogs have some uses rings true with my guys!
All of my yoga students who are ‘cat servants’ say that their cats do yoga with them. Do you know how hard it is to hold Plank before going into Up Dog when Mocha will not come out of his pose that is directly under you.
Love everyone’s comments and pictures – they get me going in the morning and wind down the day at night.
As i went into Newport today to go do my volunteer time at the animal shelter i noticed that the big gray van i saw at the Power Ford Car Sales there last week was still there. At some level i mad the connection that it might be the same van that i saw at the Power Used Cars in Lincoln City a few weeks ago.I stopped in and looked at it. Yup, could be. Same $20k price that i was told when i called the Lincoln City lot last month. It is actualy a van to bus conversion with a wheelchair lift. And is probably has a big V8. And it probably has lots of miles. And there is no telling what kind of mechanical problems it has. And its far bigger than i want and need for my job.So why do i lust for it?If it is in the lot next week when i go into town i may take a closer look. If it is still siting in the lot it may be a big white elephant for the company. Who knows?Well, i can dream about miracles, even if i don’t believe in them.
My son’s cat just wants to study any spider he sees. I try not to bother spiders if I can help it as they do hunt other bugs. And preferably as long as I don’t have to look at them. But I don’t think it is asking too much that they do not build their webs where I want to walk, is it?
When we moved into our present house, I went back to work after some days of moving. I went to check my mail and the secretary said. “Your wife called. She is in the bedroom and is not coming out until The. Bat. Is. Gone.”
So I went home and found it hanging over the dining room entrance. Which means it was there while I ate breakfast.
Occasional bat incursions stopped finally when we got a new furnace and the chimney was sealed.

This is a possibility chez nous as we have a chinning bar. But my cats would ‘neutralize’ the spider rather than run for cover.
