In reply to a comment by Dry and Dusty on the 22nd (I have not been able to get to the library the past couple days because of my work schedule and the library being closed on Sunday), I live in southern Wisconsin – not far from Madison.
So, old dogs CAN learn new tricks. And so can I! I always copy Ten Cats onto my flash drive at the library, complete with comments to look at later at home. Then I have been saving the pictures as separate documents. But as I played around on my computer a couple nights ago, I was playing a “game” I call “What would happen if I did this?” And instead of doing copy and paste as I had done in the past, I right clicked and selected “save graphics”. That saved the pictures in a JPEG form instead of the form I had it in before. So when BaconBoyCamper showed my selected avatar in one of his comments a few days ago, I was able to copy that onto my flash drive as “save graphics” and here it is! Thanks everyone for your help! I also love the laughing kitten picture that NoreenKlose posted and that could very well be a future avatar for me. Love it!
One thing I don’t do on my "what would happen if I did this – I was wondering what it means when you click on comments here. You can select reply or flag. I know what reply is – I’ve used it a few rimes. But what does it mean when it says flag? Is that to complain about offensive stuff? I would never do that to any of you!
Yep, Flicka surely did enjoy the company of Gweedo. She laid flat on her side while he was curled up on the floor alongside,,,and itched her belly, head, and almost any parts she presented him with. They laid there while I fixed a meal that the 3 of us (hubby was there, too) enjoyed. Then on to Mackinaw, the Mighty Mac bridge, Soo, and the Island. Fine trip after I had shown him around the home town area.
Good afternoon, everyone. Paul and I got “kidnapped” by his family on Saturday for what we thought was a BBQ and ended up as a weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He has a specialist’s appointment this afternoon and a CAT scat of his chest this evening, and then tomorrow morning he has an ultrasound of his abdomen.
When Bucky was a kitten he managed to get in our bed. It has drawers on the side at the bottom where we keep sheets and towels and he must have jumped in when one of the drawers was open and then jumped out the other side and was under there for ages with us looking for him until finally I heard a noise in the bed and twigged, then I had to coax him back into the open drawer to get him out.
