Things being what they are, I should be releasing (finally) my weekly prognostications and ruminations with Sunday’s strip this week. For the moment, I’m going to bed. I will re-join the broadcast team for the day shift.

I can’t believe the strategem of standing on a slippery platform with your back to a low railing while goading your opponent in a cumbersome get-up might backfire.

“History will not repeat itself today!” Well originally it was thought that Holmes and Moriarty both fell to their deaths; eventually it was learned that only Moriarty died. For neither of those accounts to happen, Abner Kadaver will have to live.

Indeed Abner underestimated Mr. Tracy. The one major mistake; he kidnapped Mrs. Tracy. That mistake is two pronged. It gives Tracy the incentive to win at any cost, but also it spares Abner’s life. For he needs the goul (sorry) to help him find Tess.

I don’t think that Abner’s suicidal. Maybe he has a spark of decency and care for Rikki. Then again, Rikki could be one of those love-struck ‘Convict lovers’ women.

Ug…I prefer my lovers with a clean face :)

Wow! Tracy has teeth! And shape (other than razor) to his nose. Even nostrils and like that.

Will we find out where Tess is tomorrow? I would think we would need to know that before we see what Abner’s fate is. Also, we’re waiting to see Rikki brought to justice. I wonder if we’ll see that resolved in the current story line or if that’s something that’s going to be resolved at a future date?

Looks like Kadaver is going down!The question remains, how far down?Down to the surface of the ledge, or down over the edge and falling the falls?Tracy seems more emotion in panel 1 than is normal for him. I think he has Tess on his mind….

Ya know, a possible scenario would be that Tess steps out of the background and throws down on Abner – having escaped from wherever he was holding her. She is probably pretty adept at getting out of handcuffs, ropes, and other fetishes.
