Pricey rice! At $109 per kilogram, Japan's Tovo Rice Corporation sells the world's most expensive rice! It's a dandy, Daniels! Wayne Daniels of Bowthorpe, England, grew a nearly 7 foot tall dandelion! Four-year-old Bayezid Hossain of Bangladesh suffers from the rare disease Progeria- speeding up the aging process and causing him to look like an elderly man.

Bayezid kind of reminds me of Jack from the movie of the same name with Robin Williams as the titular character.

“Dandelion don’t tell no lies.”

Bet ole Wayne’s neighbors loved that. Especially on a windy day.

Victims of Progeria seldom live much past the age of ten.

The sheer number would increase it but I also think the heavy pollution would increase the numbers of birth defects too.

Wayne; You keep those Dandelion seeds from blowing into other peoples yards.

Another way for thrice to show off. I can’t imagine that rice is much better than any other.

I’ve heard of progeria, but Bayezid must have an especially bad case to look old at 4.

Why Wayne, why?

Who would want to GROW a dandelion? I find that they make a very pleasing sizzle when used hot cooking grease is poured on them! Though not very effective – a week later a new one grows out of the grease spot.

Why is the progeria example presented? It’s a well-known but heart-breaking disease. This picture seems more exploitive than informative.
