It seems to me that if Donald Trump had intentionally set out to destroy the Republican party, he could not have come up with a more perfect strategy. I wonder how we will look back upon this election 10 or 15 years from now. I guess it will depend on who wins.
Trump and Hillary both lie a lot. You can’t trust either. Johnson is smoking a downer weed and blanking out. He needs a speed weed. He’s blown his chance.
The question is not who will replace the Republican Party – with the Democrats drifting to starboard, it is obvious they will. Most of their contenders could slip, unnoticed, into the Eisenhower administration. The exceptions being Obama and H Clinton, but for physical, not political reasons. The question is, who will replace the Democratic Party? Greens, or a Sanders/Warren splinter that FDR would recognize.
