The quick brown fox went to the same place as the switch board operator.. the elevator operator.. the door man.. barrel maker and many other professions.. progress!
Give me a keyboard any day. Much faster than a smartphone or mini I Pad. Laptop is OK, just uncomfortable for heavy use. Nothing for me beats a PC keyboard. Can’t play Skyrim on a smart phone!
I am with you Flo however, I don’t have any of the current devices so no worries, but do remember the having to type the “The quick box fox……” over and over and over again, like yourself a life in a legal office with teaching computers, doing shorthand, and all the legal documents…wouldn’t trade it for anything else!
I remember the sentence as being, The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy, sleepy dog. By adding sleepy, you type all twenty six letters of the alphabet.

Grandma’s exactly right about this. Get a device with a good (i.e. real) keyboard and you will be much happier!

A great iPhone app would be one that connected your wireless keyboard to your phone so you could do just that.

I used to type 45 words a minute. Now I type 45 mistakes a minute.
