It wouldn’t be a big waste of money if Champan delivers a World Series title to the Yankees next year like he did for the Cubs—provided the world doesn’t end first. I always held that if the Cubs ever won the World Series in my lifetime, it would be one of the signs of the end of the world. I’m just waiting for them to put 666 on my forehead and right hand next.
OK, so let me get this straight, this guy pitched for NY, then took a short contract with the Cubs and now he’s back with NY?Who does he think he is? MLB answer to the NFLs Dion Sanders?Sanders changed teams and it seemed like every new team won the Superbowl So, does every time this guy moves to a new team they win the World Series(North American edition only)
The Cubs gave up some prospects so he could take that short stint with them.Joe Madden thought he was so much better than the rest of his bullpen that he ran him into the ground the last three games of the series. The Yankees then dumped so much cash on him that the Cubs didn’t even bother with an offer.
Hey, he had a rough start in life in Cuba, and I don’t begrudge a guy getting huge paydays if somebody if willing to pay him, but can he possibly be that good that long? (i.e. be the reincarnation of Mariano Rivera?)

@DocForbin, it will be something a bit more of a signpost than a game or two that will be forgotten in a couple of years, especially outside the US.

http://nypost.com/2016/12/16/aroldis-chapman-blasts-cubs-on-way-out-over-world-series-use/
Throws a 5 oz ball 20 times the prior night and gets all tuckered out. Ahh, poor baby!!!
Yah know, if he threw more strikes, he wouldn’t have that problem.
What a bleep.
