Nancy: Every year, we pray for goodwill to all of us, and for a while, it seems like we have it! Then...People go back to normal...Either caring or NOT caring! Sluggo: Maybe we should also pray that goodwill will last longer than just through the holiday specials!

Doing is what counts, praying is inconsequential in the scheme of things. If you want things to be better do something, praying is a luxury. The thought only counts if something is materially done. A proven system. If most of us did work against the evil that men do it would be in a museum instead of in charge of armies. Just a thought to got out on 2016 and to bring in the new of 2017. Enjoy your parties, but too much of a good thing…

My mom went into the rest home Dec. 29,2016,then died there Dec 28 2016. With the New Year I will know she is in a better place. Happy New Year MOM!!

As a matter of fact, that is pretty much what my sermon was about last Sunday, making the Christmas spirit last all year. Happy New Year Guy and all the others here. May it be better than any other you’ve seen.
