Bernie: It had to do with Jerry Brown's shameless retooling of his position on taxes. After only ten weeks of re-education, 41% of all Californians now believe that Brown has always favored Proposition 13! Moreover, only 3% understand he was actually bitterly opposed to it! Zonker: Brown? Oh, c'mon, Bernie! Are you sure the poll was referring to Proposition 13? Bernie: Um... I think so, yeah. Zonker: The Jarvis-Brown Amendment? Bernie: Oh... that wouldn't make any sense, would it?
