My Aussie former boss once brought in some Vegemite for us to taste. Yuggo! Imagine a super-salty rotten mushroom paste and that will give you some idea. Apparently Australian mothers must smear it on their nips when nursing their babies. I can’t think of another way of getting someone to like the stuff.

My Ozzie friends were just thrilled when we found some locally for them when they came to visit.
It is the ugliest thing I ever tasted. They were in 7th heaven.
