My grandpa spent 50 years telling my grandmother how stupid and no account she was. She never could do anything right as far as he was concerned but when she died all he did was sit and cry “poor me, how bad it was that she died and left him all alone!” I think she stayed because it was what was expected. They married in 1918 and she passed in 1968.
When I was younger, I did some stupid things, but fate kept me from ruining my life. Now, after 47 years of marriage, I can’t imagine being without her.

Tomorrow I lay to rest my Grandpa, young age of 95. Grandma is 90 and holding well, they were happy together
