Reminds me of a story a colleague told me. Her husband was an amputee with a artificial leg, which he(naturally) removed before he took a bath. He got out of the tub one morning, planted his good leg on the floor…only to discover that his daughter had left a bunch of jacks on the bathroom floor. I’m not sure what happened then, because she dissolved in hysterical laughter at this point…something about him hopping up and down and screaming….

I like Norman Rockwell’s paintings. One of my favorites is his self portrait one.

Maybe he didn’t write that, but in his lifetime, Rockwell has painted over 27000 happy little trees.
