The ghosts of family and friends lost in wars. The question is do we want to be involved in wars all over the world and for what reason to be an average 130 countries a week? Most deployments are without fanfare. We need to take stock in those lost and those who come back damaged by war and it is both physical and psychological. We need to mourn the dead and help the living. Wars after World War 2 haven’t been about protecting us and our way of life. We need to stop acting like an empire and return to a republic or make up our minds.

Beyond nice. I don’t tear up with comics too often. This one sure did it. Thanks Lalo, you know I am going to put on face book right now

Very nice. Can we try to leave the partisanship out of the discussion today and agree that all sides have the well-being of our troops in mind.

A better understanding of what Memorial Day is about than today’s Arlo & Janis.
