My condolences. But I’m sure he heard the warnings of the dangers of smoking and chose to do so anyway.

Tobacco, marijuana. You can smoke them both and they’re both equally harmless.

trudeau never saw anything harmful or evil in the world that he could not blame on the republicans ..

There is also the fact that a fairly heavy marijuana user smokes one joint a day, and a fairly heavy tobacco user smokes 20 cigarettes.

And of the two, only tobacco is addicting.

While the US suppresses pot research (don’t want pesky facts getting the way of drug-warrior fanasty), other countries are more inclined to science – and the overwhelming indications are that pot smoke is pretty much harmless.

Tobacco deaths? >400,000, in the US, every year.

Pot deaths? Exactly 0, anywhere, ever.

I have a theory that cigarettes exacerbate black lung disease. I worked ten years off and on doing coal sampling and sample preparation, which involved pulverizing samples to 60 mesh and then blowing out the machine with compressed air. I wore a mask, and later an air-filtering helmet, but was still always blowing black stuff out of my nose. I never smoked cigarettes. Some marijuana, usually with friends, but you don’t have much social life on night shift. My lungs seem to be fine, but now we hear of 3,000 new cases of severe black lung among about 80,000 coal miners nationally. I would bet that they smoke more tobacco than the national average, and are gluing the coal dust into their lungs with tar.

There are several states — most notably Illinois — facing serious financial problems, and legalizing, regulating, and taxing pot is a proven new source of revenue, but ignorant superstition prevents them from doing the sane thing.

Hey guys. Y’all talking as if the reason people oppose pot were lung cancer. You must know the reason is zombies. (Countries where it is legal have a large number of day-walking, working, sociably engaged and responsible zombies.)

Who says smoking is the only way pot can be consumed?
