    Ah, the old Xeroxed “tablet across the sea” artwork! It’s held up well over the years and years. If you’re going to stretch a two-panel daily gag into a Sunday strip by adding useless, empty filler panels…at least show some creativity.

    Societies tend to lie to others about how stable and respectful they are. It also appears to be the job of the older generation in each society to complain that modern technology and thinking is what ruined the nation, and that their youth was much better.

    I’ve long suspected that B.C. takes place in modern times but takes place in a lost world. (An island, valley, or plateau cut off from the rest of the modern world where prehistoric life still flourishes. Today’s strip seems to confirm this. Peter’s stones slabs are a way of communicating with the outside civilized world.
