I’m with you, Cagney! We still need that second opinion people!

Yup, I read this strip because of Cagney. John must have a Boston, because mine act’s just like him. Get him well. I would like him to be given a pacemaker.

How old is Cagney - in cartoon years, of course.

I too do not want to see Cagney disappear from this strip. He adds a lot to it.

Vets buy the human pacemakers of those who have passed away. The cost to the vet is $500. May the vet in this strip have a heart … and an easy payment plan.

Cagney reminds me of my Boston Bull! PeeWee had a heart attack last year from chasing a jack russell around! This does hit close to home! We will be facing the same problem if he has another one!

rickmac1937 blow it out your ear! You don’t just cast aside a loyal friend like yesterday’s news! A friend I might add, that is more loyal than most human friends!

I totally agree with DryCula about this. If your dog is nothing to you, DO NOT KEEP ONE.

I’ll bet something happens at the last moment and they get just enough money to pay for it.

This must turn out to be a bad dream. Cagney saved his little “master” from death in a frozen lake not long ago. It would be too cruel to not save him now! The unconditional love of a dog for his people, even in a comic strip (what’s comical about this?) must not be unrequited.
