I no longer read, watch, or listen to the “news.” I found that (1) it’s hardly news, being largely a bunch of vapid entertainment that appeared days ago in the Internet, and (2) it leaves you doubly ignorant, having received little factual news and a great deal of misleading interpretation. And I realize that it mostly doesn’t affect me one way or the other. I am much happier, and there are still plenty of people paying attention.
