Adam feels she’s quite a catch, hopes that her heart he’ll win.

On Halloween the costumed preen. Who’ll show at the premiere?

Flattop, Pruneface, Shaky, Shoulders? The villains we hold dear.

So step right up, it’s selling out, hot tickets going fast

Nitrate in his panic room, shall this day be his last?

Somehow, not a huge surprise. ;)

Now she’s got an actual date! This is getting serious. A bit of a makeover will be needed for such a public outing.

He can’t pick her up from where she lives, so it’s a good thing for her that they agreed to meet at the coffee shop before the movie.

Will Silver approve? I don’t think Silver is prepared to lose Sprocket. He is dependent on her.

Looks like this is wrapping up all too soon, as far as I’m concerned. Tuesday, the opening, the sighting, the chase, and this might be over by Friday!

As usual, the Sunday artwork is starkly different from the dailies.

Anyone want to bet on Tracy showing up at the premier?

Bet on Tracy? I should think. I’m betting he’s already hot on their trail anyway, since Sprocket left a trail of stolen vehicles leading right to the neighbourhood.

You’ve got to think Sprocket’s not too bright, if she can’t figure out the danger of being seen in public, let alone it being the creator of Midnight Mirror. Who will, without a doubt, be introduced at the premier.

Interesting that the same dastardly deeds that brought Sprocket and Adam together will be what keeps them apart.

Not Corky’s in Gasoline Alley?

This is getting way too easy for us. Mike’s gotta throw a wrench in this story somewhere. Like several fans show up dressed like Sprocket……

I’m truly pleased and happy that Sprocket is on a date, with a man that seems to have fine character. Could this be the beginning of her finding a way out of her current life and into a far better one? Let us hope, as Silver is NOT a good influence.

How is Sprocket allowed in the coffee shop, considering she has no shoes. ? No short, no shoes, no service.

Does Susan aka Sprocket have a scheme in mind? I kind of hope she truly likes Adam.

I wonder if he will continue to see her after Dick Tracy returns her to prison.

What’s with the itchy foot? Does Sprocket have that whenever she is nervous?

It’s really too bad they started the Nitrates out as cold blooded murderers, as they’ve evolved into very likable characters who could have a lot more story options than jail bound…

A lot of commentators seem to have taken yesterday off after partying too heartily, but we’ve an outside chance of hitting the big ‘One-Zero-Zero’ again tonight.

And for the record, we’re currently lagging behind today’s ‘Luann’ by a mere five comments.

… though ‘In Security’ kicked ‘our’ butts in the comment count yesterday.

I feel like a kid at the old-time cowboy movies when, e.g., Roy embraces and kisses Dale: “Geez, how long do we have to put up with this lovey-dovey stuff?!”

Susan (sic) and Adam are clearly becoming an item, and it is just as clear that this is going to toss a spanner in the works of Sprocket (sic) and Silver Nitrate! The only questions are, how soon, and in exactly which way? I kinda sorta think the big opening of Midnite Mirror will be “the big event” in more ways than just what concerns the cinematic arts at the new Lyric….

Is that a shout-out to “Li’l Abner’s” creator in the second panel, middle row?
