Cross out “your office”, substitute “everywhere”. You can smell these people in a 8 ft radius. I once had to wait outside of the train station in the freezing cold because of the “Old Lady” scent of the perfume.
There was a guy the last place I worked… I could tell he was in the office when I was walking up the back stairs and well before I opened the door to the suite. One of several reasons I was SO glad to leave that place. Before I left I finally resorted to using a paint mask when the perfume/cologne/bodywash stench was really bad. It helped with the stench and, curiously, no one asked why I was doing that or even commented on it.

MIL had to get off a bus because of some woman’s doused-on perfume she happened to be allergic to.
