The G-Force that acts on a shoelace knot confused me a bit. What do they mean? Come on Ripley, put more effort into trying to explain what you are trying to say. You could have said something more like “Shoelaces come untied because the G-Forces that act on the knot are greater than the force produced by roller coasters”
Completely false. Force is measured in Newtons, the amount of acceleration on a 1 kg object.
Look at it this way: how far could the shoestring launch a 1 kilogram ball? How far could the curve of a roller-coaster launch something of the same mass?
G-Force huh. What is the force that allows my shoe laces to untie themselves dang near every day? When I remember I now double knot them. Have to say ‘old fogey’ style, they don’t make shoe laces like they used to.

Why would a shoe lace be under a difference G force than the shoe? I’m guessing this is about tensional stress

Probably due too it being lower to the ground.

How about this: Curve balls are hard to hit because they curve.

A stiletto heel from a 100lb woman delivers 20 times the force of an elephant’s foot on the ground.
