How does one give up cheese and yogurt? I don’t eat red meat or fried food and watch the sugar content of everything. That’s the best I can do.

Or start taking statin drugs. Turkey, dressing, gravy or chicken fried steak? Just pop the magic little pill.

Don’t give up cheese, but do have a glass of red wine every evening. Learn from the French – they don’t eschew their cheeses and they don’t worry about their cholesterol.

Be wary of statins, I have friends who were on them and now they have gout. Apparently the two are related.

I had total cholesterol of 153 in 2011- when I had quintuple bypass surgery. Total cholesterol is down to just over 100 now.
