The negative is that if you ride the bike for an hour to work, you need to shower and have exchange clothes with you. Extra 10 to 15 minutes for shower and clothe change.

The positive is that you get a lot of exercise without spending an hour at the gym each day. Also you could be able to save some money on bus tickets and gym membership.

And then, there are those bike riders trying to multitask – with headsets on.I think I’d take the bus with Betty.

Yeah, Ellisaana, me, too. It’s 9 below zero outside. When it’s not so cold, though, aerobic workouts stimulate the mind as well as the body. With a good run or ride 3-4 times a week, you’ll be wide awake and alert all day. I started that back when I was in school, and my grades jumped from C’s to A’s, and they stayed there.

I’m surprised she doesn’t have her own car.

Do both. Take your bike with you on the bus to work (attached to the front bumper, of course). You can read, and no shower required on arrival. Then ride the bike home after work…
