It’s not a Pigeon, or Sparrow in that closet. Poncho’s got himself an Emu, Greater Rhea or maybe Ostrich. He always wants Moa.
More likely lured than caught, but I suppose a closet peacock is good enough when you are desperate for a good bark.

Based on yesterday’s comic, Hudson has Big Bird’s head.
And for those of you who missed it yesterday — Big Bird’s head does not separate from his body — the puppeteer’s arm goes into the head. Of course, that would make it a lot more difficult for a doggy to wear.
