Not a fan of “Strictly Come Dancing,” Andy?

I heard a song by Ringo Starr that I’ve dubbed “Andy Capp’s Theme Song”. It’s called “Snookeroo”, and the majority of the lyrics fit Andy to a tee!!!

neither rain , snow , sleet or any other weather condition will stop Andy from getting his pint or two, or three or fourth.

It could be worse, she could be watching “The Bachelor” or the “The Bachelorette.” Then I would run.

Sorry, Flo, there is no such thing as a lovely “reality” show.

What!!!….. No reruns of the Benny Hill show? That would be more to Andy’s taste, I should think.

And it saves him the bother of falling in the canal. He’s pre-soaked.

Is golf or a snooker match on the telly ?  Flo just doesn’t know what it takes to keep ’er man in !

There’s bad weather and then there’s REAL bad!

No reality in reality shows. In truth it is a blatant 60 minute advertising for the dumbing down of the planet.

Who can blame Andy here?

Now, mind you, if there was beer in the larder, the choice might be a bit harder for Himself.

I remember when it was pouring with rain before and Andy was going to get a takeaway but the rain put him off. Poor Flo ended up having to out for it instead.

I don’t understand why people are such wimps about going out in the pouring rain. I love it.
