I just saw an article yesterday, in fact, that says not to buy your dog a red ball….they cannot detect the color red, which is why the dog probably “lost” the ball. Better to get blue or yellow – colors which they CAN see.

A-hem….that would be because, well, Border Collie slobber has more of a, what shall I say, a BOUQUET rather than a smell. ahem.
