They keep raising the bar on you. You need the right volunteer and extra-curricular activities as well as straigth A’s all the way. And let’s not forget you need to sell at least an arm and a leg.Enjoy your youth, Heart. You’ll never have this much freedom again.

Everything Hearts mom mentioned does not guarantee success. Going to college does not automatically guarantee you a job. You have to do internships and work against all the other grads. And employers want you to have 10-15 years of experience.

Except in academia, no employer cares what your grades were or (for the most part) what college you graduated from. Can you show up on time, understand and follow directions, and actually get the work out? You’re in.
