She will forgive you, with or without flowers, if you’re sincere in your apology and she loves you enough to forgive you. If you think just the flowers are going to let you get away with it once again, “You’ve got another think coming, buster!”

For spending $24?

Maybe my dear wife was unusual but she preferred something a little more lasting(and more meaningful)than flowers if I upset her.

If she’s a bear too, she’d appreciate some food instead.

$24? Hmm… Not enough for forgetting a birthday or anniversary. Not enough for calling her by her sister’s/mother’s/HIS mother’s name. Not enough for leaving the seat up (during a dark night) or for not replacing a light bulb. Not enough for failing to notice the new ‘do. I GOT IT! I got it! I got it! He failed to notice the flowers they walked by three days ago were kinda but not really like the ones he gave her on their 7th date. Or else a tree fell in the forest and he forgot to say he was wrong. But I’ll bet he still walks all the way into town to buy her some little thing she mentioned.

She won’t forgive you for paying $24 for those flowers.

I skip the flowers or any thing else. When ever I try to buy her any thing nice I get crap about the money I spent, so it’s not worth the hassle.

Apologize sincerely and immediately; especially if you were right.
