I remember that a few decades ago, some Finnish guy wanted baseball to change from an equal sized diamond to one where it had a much longer than 90 feet to first base.
Who does this guy think he is, Charlie Finley? (For those that don’t know, Mr. Finley had a few ideas; orange baseballs, tennis ball green baseballs, different colored bases, designated runner, designated hitter and night games for the World Series so are people could watch them.) So 2 out of 6 (that I know of) ain’t bad.

I have thought how much different baseball would be if the dimensions were just sllightly different. Like 85 feet — or 95 feet — to first base.
