Circus peanuts rival only Twinkies in survival in the event of a nuclear blast!

My grandfather loved circus peanuts, those hard, orange marshmallow things. I vaguely remember having one as a child and being disappointed even then. Haven’t seen them in 30 years and assumed they were no longer made. I certainly have never seen them handed out at Halloween. Perhaps I’m just in the wrong part of the country? Or maybe the right part.

OCD Lola would then arrange the favorites from the largest to the smallest.

hmmm … I actually like circus peanuts

They were never one of my favorites, but I always appreciated having them among the amazing mixture of Halloween treats.

Another colorist misses the mark, circus peanuts are ORANGE not brown.

I worked with a woman who loved Circus Peanuts so much she would buy bags and bags of those horrid things. I miss her as she was a sweet woman but I don’t miss having to watch her eat them every year.

WRONG! I love that banana-y goodness! About twice a year, I have to buy a big-ol-bag and sit and eat the whole thing. Towards the bottom of the bag, you can start to feel the onset of diabetes. It’s wonderful!
