A lot of people probably think this is a commentary on today’s politics, but TBH, this kind of conversation wouldn’t feel too out of place in Calvin and Hobbes.

Alright, not being specific. I can respect that. Not just because of how sensitive the topic is, but also to prevent the arc from becoming a period piece.

Earth: where a kid can be a kid.

Don’t worry Phoebe, in 10-20 years your generation will start taking over, and either screw things up just as bad(ly), or see how hard if not impossible they are to change…

I can see the kingdom of Phoebe, in constant warfare with the kingdom of Dakota. Then that kingdom is split by civil war into North Dakota and South Dakota.

Peaches, Queen of the Universe may have something to say about that, kiddo!

And there, Phoebe, you have just enunciated the problem of 6000+ years of human history.

Another problem: Most kids hate working and tire of it more easily than adults.

Then again, maybe that would help.
