Yes the blank pages or canvas or block then the work begins to fill it in. I deal in blank pages every day. Not so daunting all the time. But doing it every day can be difficult sometimes.
It would have been better if, instead of “Venus de Milo,” that last one had been Michaelangelo’s “David,” which really was carved from a discarded block of stone that had been left standing alone for decades.
