And this is why these family-centered holidays are relatively few and far between.

Depends which branch of the family tree I’m sitting on at the time. In one branch, politics may be discussed freely. In another, politics is best avoided in favor of football.

Facebook is optional. Turkey-day with the family is mandatory. Happy appetites to all! Condolences to the unfortunate feathered ones.

Ah the holidays, when families gather to reaffirm why they live so far apart.

    Yes there is. Stay home.

I haven’t had a meal with a family member since long before the cheeto pig.

We gather around and catch up on family things ~~ no politics, no religion and even no football!

Can you believe this morning the news channel described people as “in a panic” because Facebook is down?!

I totally agree. If your family had manners they’d know that politics is impolite dinner conversation. I am kinda just tired of caring to be honest. If trump wants to destroy the U.S. fine, all of us smart people can just have that last laugh and a big old I told you so.
