Excellent choice Roy. I too have both the book and the movie.
Methinks she may already have read / seen it…
Boy, she’s really growing up fast.
The Grandson: “Grandpa, maybe you could come over and read it again to me tomorrow.”
Grandpa: “As you wish."
Buttercup: “You’re the Dread Pirate Roberts, admit it!”
Man in Black: “With pride. What can I do for you?”
Buttercup: “You can die slowly, cut into a thousand pieces.”
Man in Black: “Tsk, tsk. That’s hardly complimentary, Highness. Why loose your venom on me?”
Buttercup: “You killed my love.”
Man in Black: “It’s possible. I kill a lot of people.”
Ah, finally a reference I can really relate to.
Inconceivable!!
Have fun storming the castle!
oh no! I had not heard that he had died! That was a spectacular book.
We have lost too much this week. God bless.
My name is Indigo Montoya…
oh no! now he’ll never get over his writer’s block and finish the sequel
He will live on with us quoting him. Life isn’t fair, it’s just fairer than death, that’s all.
A wonderful tribute
“Is it safe?”
to say
“Who are those guys?”
(crossing genres there)
I really loved the book. and the movie.
Is this a kissing book?
Nicest tribute I have seen in a long time.
Wonderful! Thank you.
Love this!
A great story and a great movie.
This is one of my favorites. When I go to a gathering of geeks (like a convention), a lot of people will know the movie and you can start a quote-a-thon and wind up with most of the movie quoted – in order! LOL
I just looked a William Goldman’s list of films, and all I can say is, “WOW!”
