“Comic magazine.” Comic book. And now “graphic novel.”

Spock and Katnip would agree.

“His logic is impeccable, Captain”!

Interesting change in terminology. A little kid calling it a comic “magazine”, which is more accurate than “comic book”, of course. I wonder when the latter term became common.

When I was a kid, my older brother and our cousin were in the laundry room, which had a hook on the outside to keep the door closed. I used the hook to lock them in, and my brother yelled at me: “If you don’t open this door I’ll beat you to a pulp!”. I was so scared that I didn’t stop to think about the logic behind that, so I unlocked the door.
