The order of events is strictly predetermined by the properties and states of all participants at a very low level. One quite naturally wishes to believe that, at some point, there are randomizing variables. But these are just other participants, possessed of their own properties and states. What we view as randomness is simply the depth of complexity achieved by having so many ongoing parallel interactions. This does not negate the property of free will, however. It ensures it as a property of awareness. And awareness is anything but random, though not necessarily conscious.

Of course, it could just be the butt gas talking.

As fate would have it later on…or continue on. Mitch M. was in charge of the yellow submarine. It was a cleaner of the machines I operated at a job, and looked just like a yellow submarine. It’s all his fault, huh…

An ordinary life? Ordinary? Listen, duck, EYE have heard Doc Watson play Columbus Stockade Blues.

The human mind is always over-ready to discern patterns where you could easily argue there were none. For whatever reason, we like to give credence to the wild flights our imaginations take. And when such beliefs confer power of some people over others, watch out. I’m looking at you, organized religion.

Or it’s just that we don’t notice all of the instances when it doesn’t happen.
