i just read that series of strips. Boopsie says she is 20 years old in 1972 which makes her 67 today. not too may 67 year-olds are asked to take off their tops by 13 year-olds . . .

This Kevin sounds like an unusual kid, for better or worse. On the one hand, how many kids his age even know that sex was discovered long before they were? But then, how many of them would want to see one of those (now) old sex symbols topless? BD is right to be unnerved.

Two observances: 1. Boopsie may be the last “wide eyed” character left in “Doonesbury”; 2. Maybe it’s just me, but it appears that Trudeau is having her appear noticeably older now. A few more facial lines than there use to be.
