Excellent work, Garan (can he walk the entire length of the Chinese Great Wall?). As for the pelican, is the factoid saying that the sea bird’s stomach holds one gallon?

The diamond entry is rather redundant — (“Believe It or Not” x 2)

Obviously, the people who mine for Diamonds are digging in the wrong place. Otherwise they wouldn’t have to move so much dirt.

Natural diamonds are one of the most common minerals on earth. That is why they are frequently used on sandpaper and grinding wheels. It is size and purity that make the gem quality ones valuable.

Why would a pelican hold 3 gallons of water in its pouch?

Mining earth does not “make” a diamond. You find them in the earth. They were made along time ago by geological forces, not mining.
