Uh, Steve? It’s a good thing you’re In, nor running for, public office. Besides, the severity of the repercussions varies on your political affiliation, and whether of not your wife allows you to moonwalk during a new conference…….,
Saint George’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia is long gone — razed to the ground and built over with apartments. I’m not saying it’s because they used to put on black-face minstrel shows, but it could be.
“… pants up to our…nipples”. And that was men and women both…or maybe my memory is faulty, and that was just older women whose nipples were down to their pants…I dunno…
It is interesting to note that the political correctness crowd has turned on their liberal political leaders over the behavior of the politicians behavior in their youth.
I was in college when the original Bloom county came out and back then we kew that just wa not right. i htought htis was a throw back to his having to step down as Mr. america
My husband has wondered about the high pants phenomena. If you look at an average man’s build, any man, a man’s true waist is higher than an average woman’s. Thus, if men wear their pants at their true waist, they are quite high on their boday. I noticed this seeing a picture of Harry Belafonte with his shirt off. Started thinking about it. Also, a previous comment is pretty correct, men’s waist high pants were gone after the 40’s

The only time that is acceptable to dress up as a “Black Guy” is if you are a “Black Guy” or a Black Gal doing boy drag (IMO).

Anything from the eighties is still far better than wearing your pants halfway down your rear.

Hey it wasn’t his fault, it was Oliver Wendell Jones and his Electrophoto pigmentizer. Steve was the innocent victim.

BTW, Steve, pants up to your nipples went “out” after World War II…

In truth, the pictures in question came from a fantasy sequence where Steve is dancing in the bathroom with a towel and shower cap.

They say styles repeat themselves every few years. I can hardly wait for the Zoot Suits with the “Reet Pleat and the Drape Shape”…

Wait, Steve’s just an ordinary lawyer, isn’t he? Not a governor.

“Fashion” in the ‘80s was clearly crazy. Isn’t insanity a legal excuse that Steve might claim?

Let’s not forget his “Secret Devil sign” during his Deathtongue manager days.
