When I was a kid, I could always come in from the freezing cold and warm up in the winter, and I even relished going out in the cold for that reason. But in summer, when I came inside from the sweltering heat it was at least as hot inside, no matter whether I was at home, school, or my part-time job. Nowadays, just about everywhere I go is air-conditioned – but since I still travel mostly on foot, I arrive there smelly and drenched in sweat, with no chance to change clothes or take a shower till the end of the day. So I’m with Oscar and eddi_tbh.
