We had a mail slot in our screen door. Once the mailperson put the mail through the slot and it dropped on our dog who was sleeping below. I don’t know who was more startled, but we got a letter saying we had to put up an outside mailbox.
OMG! It looks like I forgot to punch “Comment” for the comment I wrote here hours ago! I’ll try to reconstruct it, more or less….
Dad may be missing his mail; especially that check that is proverbially “in the mail.”
Looks as though the mailbox has become a doghouse for Lio’s robodog. This reminds me, somehow, of a dog we once had (cocker spaniel) named Rusty. Wonder why I thought of that just now?
