That song, and the fact that the weatherman always has the same forecast – mostly cloudy today, makes it seem like you’re really in the other place.

Does Bleeb have the day off? Or maybe he’s spending it with his mother?

Joni Mitchell wrote that song and I think she sings it better than Judy.

To be fair, this song was written by Joni Mitchell, who, alas, is not far from performing it in this venue.

Someone didn’t do their homework! “Both Sides, Now” is one of the best-known songs of Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. First recorded by Judy Collins, it appeared on the U.S. singles chart during the fall of 1968. The next year it was included on Mitchell’s album Clouds (which was named after a lyric from the song). It has since been recorded by dozens of artists, including Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson and Herbie Hancock. Mitchell herself re-recorded the song, with an orchestral arrangement, on her 2000 album Both Sides Now. —Wikipedia

Come to think of it, I have heard much of the heavenly chorus. I wonder who the composer is? I mean, with the variety of noises and music just on earth alone, what do you hope to hear for eternity?

Why is Judy Collins singing a Joni Mitchell song?
